Greetings from Streator, I checked New Michigan, Calder, Moon's Point and Phillips and Ancona and did not find an August Brandes or Frank Benckendorf. I don't have a copy of Long Point Cemetery. Buried in Phillips were Dina and her? children Arthur and Tillie. Mrs. August Brandes (Emilie Jaeschke), second wife. A note on the page states her children were Clara, Edward, Harvey and William. There was also a Henry Brandes, 1848 - 1901, and his wives and children. Was he a brother to August?
