Dear Joanie, If you have access to the Streator Free Press Weekly for the late 1870's would you please check for the death of William Montgomery. Family oral history says he was a marshal/constable,etc at Streator, and following bringing in a prisoner through a snow storm came down with pneumonia and died; leaving a widow (Matilda) and two teen age children; and that Matilda subsequently lost the family home to foreclosure. Either event likely would have been reported in the "Weekly". Any related information would be very much appreciated. Tom Davis
