    1. [ILLASALLE] Redeen family
    2. Does anyone have information on the family of Charles Albon Redeen and his wife, Rosella (Rosa) Stokes. I do not know when Charles and Rosa were born, or died. But, they were married 20 December 1899 in Coles County, IL. The family lived in both Ottawa,IL and later moved to Peru, IL. Charles and Rosa had several children; they were Charles Redeen Jr.(29 Jan.1904-August 1972. He died in Peru.), Ruth Redeen Deisbeck (23 May 1914-11 Jan. 1996. She died in Peru.) and Esther Redeen. They may have had more children, but I do not know their names at the moment. If anyone has information on this family, please email me or reply to this message via the list. By the way, Charles Albon Redeen is the brother of my great grandmother, Emma Marie (Redeen) Titus of Rock Island County, IL. Thank you, Zack Pasters

    3. Greetings Zack, I have spent a few minutes and gather info from the 1930 census about Charles A Redeen and his family and learned how to read censuses and work that imaging. I just purchased Ancestry.com and trying to learn how to do this. Sorry I could not send a copy directly to year (I tried) but do have a hard copy if you send me your addressed stamped envelope. The family is more interested if it is one's own family: Redeen, Charles A--M--W--61--M--22--0--Y--Sweden-SWD-SWD-0-4-NO--Power Man--Railroads--Yes--No --F--W--52--M--17--0--Y--IL--------GM--GM---13--Y------------------- Charles Jr-----M--W--26-S--------0--Y--IL--------SW--SW----6---Y---Machinist--clock factory--Yes--No Helen-------F---W--17-S--------0--Y--IL--------SW--IL-----6---Y---Laborer--C lock Factory--N Ruth---dau-F---W--15-S---------0-Y--IL--------SW--IL-----6---Y-- Esther--dau-F--W---13-S--------0-Y--IL--------SW--IL-----13 Koplin, Ervis-stepsonM-W---25-S--------0-Y--WI------WI---IL------6--Y--Escaper--Cloc k Factory--yes--No Can you look at a 1930 Census to understand these codes?
