If they were Polish, they were possibly members of St. Hyacinth's in LaSalle, the records of which were copied a couple years ago by Jean Wallace and some others, and indexed , I think, by Amy. There might be church records of a baptism or burial. These records are at the Guild. I got the impression if for some reason the parents didn't report the birth of their child due to distance or whatever when the county searched for you they wouldn't necessary check those records. According to an aunt (she is now deceased) she claims that my gg grandparents had a child and this child died at the age of about 2. I have no birth date or death date but was she born within a 3 year span. I don't find her on IRAD either. The name that I was told was Marie Grajkowski (a), child of John and Mary Grajkowski. She was born between 1891 and 1894, I believe. The town of Peru is what my aunt noted. Any help in finding this child would be appreciated. > > And thank you Twila. > > ============================== Search the US Census Collection. Over 140 million records added in the last 12 months.
