Hello. Are there any death indexes available for the period between 1880 and 1888? I am hoping to find the death record of a Mary MASKER or MASEKER. My gg-grandparents (John MASKER and Ellen HOOTON) married on July 22, 1888 in LaSalle County. John MASEKER or MASKER had been married previously. I believe his first wife to be Mary PARR or Mary DAVIS, possibly born in Ireland about 1847. John and Mary lived in Dover, Morris County, NJ in 1880 and appear to have had two children - William and Joseph. Both names show up in LaSalle County records, although Joseph also went by Frank Joseph MASKER. When John died in Streator in 1896, his obit states that he had four children. He only had two with my gg-grandmother and I believe these other two to be William and Frank/Joseph. The obit also states that they had come from Clinton, Iowa about 10 years earlier. I would like to find the death record for Mary in hopes of filling in some details on her and possibly filling in the gaps in those years. Thanks, Shelly in California
