Cynthia-- The LaSalle County Genealogy Guild, http://www.lscgg.org/, has marriage certificates available for a small fee (much better than at the courthouse, as I believe Jenan Jobst stated recently. You should know, however, that previous to 1877 a marriage license will not include much genealogical information. I am not researching the YOUNG line, but I am somewhat interested in the ROWE or ROE line. A distant cousin in my HOFFNER line married Rosie Roe (or Rowe) STOTT in Livingston County, just south and southwest of LaSalle County. I am researching the two people above. They are brother and sister and children of Eli ROBINSON and Charlotte YOUNG niece of Brigham YOUNG. In the will of John YOUNG in April 1870 Salt Lake City is mentioned that $10.00 cash was to be given to both Delos and Celetia ROBINSON children of Charlotte ROBINSON deceased. Delos married Emeline ROWE in Aug. 1856 and Celestia married Samuel ROWE Nov 1865. Both in LaSalle. I have the marriage information that includes license number can someone tell me the best place to send for these certificates? Also if anyone is researching this line I'd be happy to share information. Charlotte YOUNG was born abt 1824 in Hector, Schuyler, N.Y. In abt 1833 her father John mother Theadocia and 4 other sisters moved to Kirtland, Lake, Ohio. Charlotte is listed in the 1840 Lake County census. In 1847 the family then makes the move to Nauvoo and eventually Salt Lake City. I believe that Charlotte and Eli ROBINSON were in Bloomfield, Walworth WI because Delos married his first wife there and there is an Eli ROBINSON in the 1860 census.
