Found a Henry Johnson and Ellen Olson being married in LaSalle Co., Illinois on 3 Mar 1860. License Number was 1007. Hi Gwen, I can't help with your Henry Johnson born 1835 but have a Johnson from Miller that I would like to see if you know anything about. I have a Henry J. Johnson born 26 Mar 1865 in Miller, he married Hilda Jaeger in the town of Norway 11 Mar 1886. Henry's parents are listed as John Johnson and Christine Fruland/Frøland. Christine was born in LaSalle 1839, her parents from Norway sailed on the Aegir/Ægir in 1837 from Norway. Now here is where this part of my family takes a turn, and why I have not entered this in my database. Records show two surnames-- Johnson and Norwick/Norwich for this line. My family records show Norwick, other records Johnson. If you run into this in your research please email me and I will send what I have on this research. I have John Johnson/Norwick and Christina Fruland's line but will not use this in my data till I put and end to the surname question.
