Mrs. George Eddy at 205 Penn street born in England in 1838 came to US 59 years ago 48 of which were spent in this vicinity was united in marriage and his wife preceded him in death 16 years ago. Six children are left: Robert of Virden, William of Ottawa, Thomas and John of Virden, Mrs. John Hold? of Bellview, Ill., and Mrs. Geo. Eddy of Streator. one sister, Mrs. Frank Cox of Colorado was a mine examiner, lived with his dau. the past five years. body was shipped to Virden for burial.
