Joanie, I can't thank you enough for finding this wonderfully informative obituary. Can you tell me the date and name of the paper where you found it? Greetings Again, I thought I could read all the dates, but I missed the date of his move to Chicago. I can read the "185" but not the last digit. The rest of the obituary is fairly clear. Next time I go to the library, I'll see if I can read the last digit. There were two other articles: Nov. 8, 1920 Announcing his death and giving the time of the services. Nov. 17, 1920 Mrs. Hugh Ingle of Ottawa, who was staying with her parents, M/M Julius Redman during the funeral, returned home. The Streator Public Library has the Streator newspapers on microfilm. They charge $1.00 per microfilm copy plus postage. (Don't know if they charge for a search.) The name of the paper changed several times, I believe this is the Streator Daily Free Press. There is an index for the Weekly and Daily Free Press for the years 1873 - 1935. The Monitor, another paper, was indexed for the year 1872.
