Their farm was on Section 12, Twp 31, Rge 2. He died on September 1, 1850. The legal notices for his estate appeared in the Ottawa Free Trader, a weekly newspaper. William's wife's name was Gebke and his children's names were Jacob, Janna or Johanna, Gebke, Wilmke, Anke, and Frederick or John. Vikki, The information I have is that Jacob ( Jacob Willms Hagena) is the son of William ALBERTS from his first marriage. I have his birth date as Feb. 9, 1828 at Munkeboe, Germany. Jacob's half sister, Johanna ALBERTS, was my ggrandmother. Let me know if you desire more information.
