    1. Re: [ILLASALLE] Address help
    2. From Wagner's Funeral Home Record (I think) Ruth's father was Andrew Jeavons or Jendons? Correct? George J. and wife Viola V. Brink were married May 31, 1906. " On first coming to the US. Joseph located in Penn. but returned to England then came back with his family. George, his son, was a salesman for Bon Ami and later a road rep. for the Wrigley Gum Co. Later he had a cigar business in La Salle. Joe and Ruth had four sons and two daughters. If this is the correct George, the above info came from the O'Byrne History of La Salle County pub. in 1924. -- Streatorland Historical Society 306 South Vermillion Street Streator, Illinois 61364 Monday - Friday 9:30 - 2:30 Sunday 1 - 4 p.m. > I am researching the Dorman line from LaSalle County. 1. Re: [ILLASALLE] Address help
    2. Carol O'Neal
    3. George J. is the son of Joseph and Anna. He went by the nicname of Jody. This is his family. I have one source that shows Ruths maiden name as Zoebronet but I dont know if this is right. I would say that the funeral home record you have would be more accurate. I have not found any census record yet around 1890 but will check to see if anything is available for Penn. He should be in the 1900 census for LaSalle county tho per the ship manifest address. She and Benjamin must have returned for a visit to England in 1898 and already had a home in Streator. I just havent figured out the St. Marrys Streator that is listed. The census records are really hard to read on most and it would be easy to mistranscribe. Have had no luck using Ancestry so am trying to go thru the census page by page. Thank you for the information. Would you have access to any marriage information for Anna Dorman-James F. O'Neal Sr.? I have sent off for record copies but that was weeks ago. They would have married around 1908, his second her first. Trying to find a record that shows his parents. We think it may have been Willis and Mary (Shields) O'Neal. James F. Sr. died in 1915 and was buried the day James F. Jr. was born. Thanks again for any and all help! >From: bluejay201@mchsi.com >Reply-To: ILLASALL-L@rootsweb.com >To: ILLASALL-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [ILLASALLE] Address help >Date: Mon, 18 Jul 2005 21:47:19 +0000 > >From Wagner's Funeral Home Record (I think) Ruth's father was >Andrew Jeavons or Jendons?
