Candy, I noticed your name and that of the cemetery. Would you have a Walter Ammons in your family? I have been scanning in photos from an old album that belonged to my mother, and there are several military/1940's photos of Walter Ammons. I have no idea who he is. My mother was Ethel Pruitt, parents Charles and Muriel Pruitt of Streator. Charles raised her as his own but her natural father was John Petko. Her grandparents were Thompsons and she married a #1-Himelrick, and #2 a Bain in California. Sharon > Mackey Cemetery, Ammons and Mackey's mostly buried there.
