Hawkins (Dec. 9 1845 - March 19, 1880) , husband of Amanda L. Smith had the following inscription on his tombstone: Pvt Co. A. 15th Regt Connecticut Inf. Byron Lee Pennington (April 9, 1917 - May 11, 1964), son of Virgil and Inez (Smith) Pennington: IL T/Sgt U.A.A.F. WW2 Thomas Byron Smith had a M.W.A emblem on his tombstone. According to the appendix, that abbreviation means "Modern Woodmen of America". Let me know if you want me to send you the tombstone inscriptions. Good luck!
