This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Cemetery Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Sg.2ADI/1826.1 Message Board Post: Hi- You may already have this information, but while I was at the library, I looked up the following information in the "Invanhoe Cemetery & Swan Cemetery Tombstone Inscriptions and Burial Records (1997)". Perhaps there will be some additional information that can help you with your search: SECTION B-EAST Lot 59 SMITH, Clarence 1891-1892 s/Thomas B. & Alma Sidney 1889-1891 s/Thomas B. & Alma Thomas Byron 1849-1916 h/Alma Esther HANDY M.W.A emb; s/Eber H. & Sarah SMITH Alma Ester HANDY 1862-1920 w/Thomas B. SMITH I don't know if the following are related to Alma Esther Handy, but in Lot 60 are the following people: HANDY, Eugenia Louise PUTNAM 1840-1925 w/Samual Dwight HANDY; dau/Daniel & Julia A. PUTNAM PUTNAM, Julia Anna Austin 1816-1909 w/Daniel S. PUTNAM Daniel Sumner 1813-1904 h/Julia A. Austin; s/Daniel & Permelia PUTNAM Then, as for EH Smith and SA Hays, the following information was found: SECTION B-EAST Lot 31 SMITH, Mary Emma Mar 26, 1856 - Apr 4, 1860 dau/Eber H. & Sarah George W. Feb 20, 1858 - Feb 17, 1881 s/Eber & Sarah Smith Eber Holden June 3, 1817 - June 16, 1898 h/Sarah Ann Hays; s/Thomas & Hepsibah SMITH Sarah Ann HAYS June 10, 1819 - Feb 11, 1892 w/Eber H. SMITH So, it looks like TB Smith and AE Handy had two sons that died very young (Clarence and Sidney). EH Smith and SA Hays had two children buried with them (Son George and Daughter Mary Emma). Both of them preceded their parents in death. It looks like Eber Holden Smith's parents names are Thomas and Hepsibah - I didn't look them up to see if they are buried at the same cemetery, but I can if you would like. I hope that this helps
