Do you know if your Whiteheads are related to Gertrude Mary May Harrison Schroeder whose mother was Mary Ann Whitehead Harrison. Gertrude was born in The Holy Trinity, Coventry, County of Warwick, 10-12-1886 and lived in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Hello. Thank you for your message. Charles Whitehead and Susannah Palmer were married in London, England in 1853. Both had been born in the village of Easton, Northamptonshire, England. They sailed off to America the day following their wedding. They settled in Avon, Lake Co. Illinois where Charles became a farmer. They had 5 daughters. Mary born 1855 married William Wilson Sarah born 1857 married John J. Longabaugh (Their son Charles became an artist) Susannah born 1859 never married. Emma born 1865 married Hobart James Esty Ellen bon 1865 married Fred H. Kuebker. The last two girls were twins. Sarah lived to be over 100 years old. There may have been other Whitehead family members who had emigrated besides Charles.
