The Cooks lived in the unincorporated subdivision of Wildwood (between Grayslake and Gurnee). The couple was very active in Boy Scouts. Bernie was the Scoutmaster of Troop 71 in Wildwood for many years. He was also a retired Naval Chief Petty Officer. I think Bernie passed away in the 1990's; I'm not sure about Mrs. Cook.
