If you can get a copy of the original insurance application by a member of the Modern Woodsman, you will get a gold mine of information. I found a copy of my husband's grandfather's application in some old papers. It had where he was from, when and where he came to the US. His wife maiden name, marriage date and whether his grandparents, parents and syblings were dead or alive and their ages. It gave me what I need to get started on his line. Mary Fran
