Hi Carol, Thank you so much for taking the time to look up this information. It is most helpful since I have been stymied looking for information on the Vandermarks in NY. I will be able to order a death certificate from MN for Martha Caroline Vandermark Parker, which I think will provide the final piece of the puzzle. It seems quite possible that the two "M. C." Vandermark sisters were twins. My grandmother, who provided me with what info. I began with, was a twin. She never mentioned any other twins in her families, so I have been surprised to find two sets and possibly a third, all of them generationally-close to my grandmother and her twin sister.
