    3. Hi Ray, I would really appreciate the piece about the installing of offices. Yes, the Koller's were old time settlers in the area. Charles KOLLER m. Caroline JOHNSON on April 12, 1888 Herman "Joseph" KOLLER m. Mary SASCH on April 28, 1881 My two main lines are SASCH and JOHNSON. The SASCH name has been in Highland Park area since about 1864. This was when Nicholas SASCH joined up to serve in the Civil war according to the book of Highland Park. I've never been able to find him listed on any rosters though! The Sasch name has pretty much died out now. I haven't found much info on the name, which is really unfortunate. The earliest I can find the JOHNSON line there is 1880 from the census. I know Anna JOHNSON was listed as a widow on the 1900 census for Highland Park, but I've been unable to locate her exact date of death! I'm pretty sure her husband died just a couple of years before her. She wouldn't have lived much past 1900. I received the death info from Rock Island Illinois, the headquarters of the Modern Woodmen of America. The marriage info I have from their marriage licences. -Brenda G. P.S. Thank you so much for trying to help me.
