    3. Sherry, Have you searched the Lake County Circuit Court Case File Index at the Illinois Archives, http://www.ilsos.gov/GenealogyMWeb/lakesrch.html? There are several Montgomery plaintiffs, including a Caleb. They may not be anyone you are researching, but you may want to look at the index. You can order copies of file contents. I have done so in the past with unexpected and fascinating results.
