I am curious about the cemetaries in Waukegan as many of my ancestors are buried there. I believe there was a cemetary located on the lake, perhaps on Sheridan Road, in Waukegan. There is a rumor that my mom's brother was buried there. Also rumored was that his parents received a letter many years ago that they should move his body as the cemetary was being moved. At the time they had no money, so supposedly his body was moved without their knowledge. Which cemetaries would have been the main burial place for members of Mother Of God Church, St. Stephen's on 22nd Place & Wolcott Ave, St. George on Ewing and Sacred Heart in Melrose Park. These were all Slovenian Parishes. Does anyone have the addresses of the cemetaries.
