I've "rescued" a group of old family photographs all appearing to belong to the LINTLEMAN and BERGHORN Family of Illinois. The photographs included in this group are as follows: * "Aunt Amelia's Mother & Father" with Bill & Dora LINTLEMAN, taken at the C. G. Gerlach Studio in Dundee, IL, 1870's, couples in their 20's or 30's * Mrs. F. BERGHORN, taken at the Th. Roeder Studio in Arlington Heights, IL, 1870's or 1880's, woman in her 20's, note "Amelia's Mother" * "Lill and Amelia", taken at the Al R. Ficke Studio in Lake Zurich, IL, 1880's or 1890's, Amelia in teens, Lill about 3 years * Grandmother LINTLEMAN & "Amelia", taken at the Kersting Studio in Chicago, IL, 1890's, woman in her 50's or 60's with younger woman in teens or 20's, note "Geo's Mother" and "Mom's Grandmother" * "Dad", taken at Kersting Studio in Chicago, IL, 1880's, infant * "Mom Rose", taken at Hughes Studio in Wauconda, IL, 1880's, infant * Unidentified Couple, taken at Kersting Studio in Chicago, IL, 1880's, couple in their 20's * Unidentified Couple with two children, taken at the Hughes Studio in Wauconda, IL, 1890's or 1900's, same couple in photo above in 30's, two girls ages 3-6 years * Unidentified Girls, taken at Hughes Studio in Wauconda, IL, 1890's or 1900's, same as above children, girls 3-6 years I was able to find some census information relating to the families as follows: 1870 census of Ela, IL: Geo LINDLEMAN, age 40, a Farmer, born Hanover Maren LINDLEMAN, wife, age 33 William LINDLEMAN, age 11 Amelia LINDLEMAN, age 9 George LINDLEMAN Jr., age 7 Mary LINDLEMAN, age 72, Mother, born Hanover 1900 census of Ela Township, IL: Marone LINDLEMAN, age 62, born Nov 1837, a widow, 4 children/2 living, born Germany, parents born Germany, to USA 1855, a Midwife Emelia BERGBORN, Granddau, age 17, born Mar 1883, born IL, parents born IL Living directly next door are George Jr. & Minnie LINDLEMAN with two children, Lilie & Rosa Along with these photographs I've also recovered others belonging to the BRANDING Family which I believe may be related.
