My gr grandfather was Walter Glasby Campbell who married Anna Marie Haas or Hase from Germany. My gr grandfather was a carpenter and an amateur fiddler and square dance caller in the Waukegan area. They had several children, including their oldest daughter, my grandmother, Ellen E. Campbell. She had sisters named Bernice, Marion and Edith (Edie) and brothers including Leslie Herbert Campbell. They lived in Waukegan, IL in the early 1900's through ?. My mother was born in Chicago but was raised in Waukegan in 1920's - 1930's.
