This is not specific to what you're asking but just thought you might want to know. In the late 1800's and early 1900's many Lithuanian families moved to this particular part of Waukegan (the name Yokubaitis sure sounds Lithuanian). These families started St. Bartholomew church on the corner of eighth and Lincoln streets in the mid to late 1890's (Lincoln is about two blocks over from Adams). St. Bartholomew Catholic Church merged with St. Joseph(started by German families in the 1860's, about 12 blocks from St. Bartholomew) to form Holy Family Parish East and West sites around 1996. Both churches are still currently holding mass, but sadly the parish has recently bought the old calvary way temple on the corner of Keller and Belvidere and will be moving there and selling both landmarks in a few months. There is a web site for Holy Family and it has an old picture of St. Bart's as well as a short history, I can't remember the address but I found it on a search engine.
