    3. To Jean in Victoria Canada, I've been following your query. If you know where the accident occurred and the newspaper it was printed in, it may be available from a local library. As an example I was looking for a relative who died in the 1940's. The Waukegan Public Library has a free service, and they will do obituary searches for you, as long as you have an approximate date of death. When they did a search for me, they found a news article about the death instead of an obituary. They sent me a copy of it. I have done a large portion of my queries via e-mail. There are a tremendous amount of resources available on the internet for Illinois. Mary >From: "C.
