    3. You're so funny Jean...the only reason why I had these articles is that they were on the same page as an obituary photocopy so I thought...why not send the info? May help someone. I have others somewhere..will have to check. -Brenda ----- Original Message ----- From: Jean Ann Palmer <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 05, 2001 12:37 PM Subject: [[ILLAKE]: ] Re: [[ILLAKE]: ] more news items dated 1912 > This gets better and better THANK YOU! 3. Every scrap of color helps. These people new to the country made a wonderful life for themselves. You are sharing and that is the main thing. All the best, Jean. ----- Original Message ----- From: "C. 3. Brenda, It's me again with another of my eternal questions. Grin Do you know where to access back copies of the newspapers please? I have found an accidental death in our family I am sure there would have been a report in the newspaper as a steam boiler blew up. I am grateful for any help. Jean in Victoria BC Canada.

    3. Hi Jean, I don't know how many Brenda's there are on the list, but I'll assume you mean me! I'm not really familiar with all of the newspapers in Lake County, but perhaps post to the list with all of the particulars...name, date, location etc. and I'm sure someone in Lake County will be able to guide you better than I. As to the civil war databases, I can't really help you with that one, I also have a g.g.grandfather that (according to a Highland Park History) signed for the Civil War but I've been unable to find proof of this. This is a good list and very helpful, give them a shot. -Brenda G.
