Dear County List, As of yesterday, we have uploaded a page with some church history and surnames of members (as far as we have them) for several more Illinois Counties, which may be of some help to researchers who have ancestors who were members of the Primitive Baptist church. We have now entered similar pages for over 70 counties in Illinois, as a link to our homepage on our website. The information regarding the members names comes from a database in our library computer which is not on-line, but the surnames serve as an index to it, to help researchers determine if they may have connections in some of our churches. The database has been (and is still being added to) compiled from original source documents, including church and association records, and obituaries - many of which are found in our shelves of bound church periodicals.
