I will do just that (regarding the SS #). I know my grandmother's name was Myrtle - other's were able to help me confirm that (it's what my mother remembered her name to be but wasn't completely sure) so now it's just finding her last name. How 'bout that - I'm likely not at all Armenian, anyway. :-/ Wow, it's a bit unsettling to find the information I've been looking for, only to find out that what I've been told and thought all my life isn't true.
