Several years ago I was doing research in Lake County and was sent to the Peterson Funeral Home in Waukegan. They had listed the death of Polly Chittenden, died Nov 14, 1871 and buried in Warren at Whitmore. Is anyone familiar with this cemetery? I'm wondering why she was buried there instead of with her husband in Avon Centre and theorizing that she might be buried with a child. Thanks for any info, Lynn Chittenden Hohler
