Hello Jonathan, I found a Fred Krueger, age 36, listed in th 1880 census of Lake County, IL in Warren Township with his wife, Frederica, age 34, and children, Anna, Robert, Herman, Minnie, Matilda and Bettie, ages 12 thru 3 months. Is this the family you are looking for? I do not find the family in the 1870 census. Fred was listed as a carpenter, so the family may have moved to the county between 1870 and 1880. Jonathon, Reka Froelich lived with her family John and Maria Froelich at this point in time. She was born 11 July of 1863 in Lake Zurich Illinois. She was th oldest child. Does anyone happen to have the 1870 census for Lake County, particularly of Hainsville, Avon, Grayslake and Waukegan please? I am particularly searching for George PALMER who was disabled in the Civil War and was discharged in 1865. He is said to have moved from Waukegan to Hainsville.
