Dear Diane, I am the president of the Ela Historical Society in Lake Zurich, IL. We would be very interested in any information on the Froelich family which you have. They played a big part in the early history of Lake Zurich. I grew up on Park Avenue and our family shopped at Frolic's store on the corner of Park Avenue and Main Street. My mother and I used to visit Mrs. Froelich who was bedridden as we walked to or from "uptown." I am looking for information on John, Sarah (mother), Ruth (married John White) and Sarah (daughter) Baldwin. They lived in Lake Forest in 1900-1907. A son Joseph, lived there until about 1902, and then moved to Ravenswood, Chicago, Ill. He had been married to a Flo Meade I believe, they had 2 daughters, Frances and Margaret. He remarried in 1907, to Sallie (Sarah) Fish. Sarah the daughter never married; Ruth married and moved to Rockford, and had 3 children that I know of. John Jr., Sarah Baldwin White and Emma Lucy White. I have Joseph in Chicago in the 1920 census,at 4709 Adams Street. His daughter Frances was 24 and Margaret was 19. Can any one give me any information? Thanks. Ruth Prouty Hale John Baldwin came from England with his daughter, Emma, who was my grandmother, and his son Joseph, in 1871. He married Sarah after arrival in the States.

M.L.Belcher: Enoch Church married Emeline Case May 17, 1848 - document #092M2010, Book A, page 168 That's the only marriage found for him in the Index to Lake County Marriages, 1839-1911. If he married a second time it must have taken place in another county. Joan Roden [email protected] [email protected] wrote: > I am looking for info on Enoch Church who m. Eninile Case in Lake Co.
