Hi, I am looking for the burial location of the following couple, who were last reported to be residents of Waukegan in 1930. Is there an index that can be checked or do I have to call cemetery to cemetery? And what would be the main cemeteries to check in Waukegan. I have also gotten a virus laden email titled McKeon Genealogy. Someone with really choppy English sent a brief message with it saying I should review his family tree attached. The "McAfee Automatic Scan" attached to the messages posted to these boards is totally useless. And they are getting slick. Now they actually put a subject. It is usually "re:" a message you actually posted to this system. That is how I got it. It was actually from someone I new and had a subject regarding one of my queries. The difference is they put a "_" in front of the person's name sending the message. They one I just deleted was called "Sorry About Yesterday.mpg" and the previous was "Fat Lady Sings". With the "Badnews" virus I was stupid enough to open and infect our computer. This one will send an e-mail to "any" email address in your mailbox. The e-mail address can be on an e-mail, not just in your address book. You will not even know who you have sent these virus to. Yesterday we also got a Norton virus alert on a web page that had the lyrics of music. Luckily we have been keeping our anti virus program current. Good luck. Most notably, I have a John Aldrich Pratt, who also lived in Lake County, Wauconda to be exact. His mother is supposedly Sally Aldrich, who died in Vermont when John was 2, in 1818. These Pratts (John and father Ebenezer, and others) came to Lake County from Vermont about 1854, I believe. Any connection to these Pratts? Can anyone tell me more about David S. Aldrich who bought land in Lake Co in 1848. He was from Wayne Co., NY. His land was in Township 43-N N1/2 SE 9 and 43-N SWSE 9. I believe he is a family member of my ancestor, George Aldrich, who lived in Lake Co during the same time. David Aldrich lived very close to my other ancestor, George Fish who lived on 43 N as well. All of these people were in Lake Co. between 1844 and 1850. I think 43N is Ela or Fremont Township.
