George SEDGWICK was born 1852 in Clinton co PA, son of John SEDGWICK and Ellen TATE of England. John SEDGWICK and his family lived in PA, OH and Wapello co IA. George SEDGWICK married Minnie FLETCHER Wyman in Monroe co IA in 1893 and they lived in Frederic in that county until about 1922 when they moved to Galesburg IL. George died there in 1930 and Minnie in 1954 though both were returned to Iowa for burial. Many of their children lived in the Galesburg area.
