    3. Hi Jane: I do not think this is my WHITE family. I believe I have seen these names in the ancestry of PEREGRINE WHITE born aboard the Mayflower. If so, there is a lot of info on this family. ... The first of my family was ALEXANDER WHITE, and if there is connection to PEREGRINE WHITE, it has not been proven, so I cannot help you. sorry. - Marna- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane Kuck" <jkuck@elmnet.net> To: <ILKNOX-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, February 17, 2001 3:54 PM Subject: [ILKNOX-L] Susanna WHITE, dau. of Samual WHITE > ______________________________X-Message: #5 > Date: Fri, 16 Feb 2001 08:22:33 -0600 > From: "Marna Scott" <marnascott@lisco.net> > To: ILKNOX-L@rootsweb.com > Message-ID: <000301c09824$5f37a220$351991d0@lisco.net> > Subject: [ILKNOX-L] Mary McMurtry/McMurtrie > Content-Type: text/plain; > charset="Windows-1252" > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > Jan: > I do remember whether I have ever contacted you to ask whether you have any > information about the McMurtrys from Greenwich, Twn, Sussex, or Warren Co., > N.J. > I have MARY MCMURTRIE, spouse of ALEXANDER WHITE, b. 1709, and though I find > McMurtrie men who were in the Revolutionary War, I do not find Mary. > For those from Fulton Co., who might be following this board, Alexander > White was the father of the Revolutionary Solldier, SAMUEL WHITE, ancestor > of many of the WHITE(s) of Fulton county. > If this is of any interest to anyone on this board, please contact me. > - Marna - > > I see that you have extensive WHITE data.
