We have recently finished making the following additions to the Knox County USGenWeb site. - Histories from the 1871 Atlas Map of Knox County for the county and ALL townships. - Histories from the 1878 History of Knox County for all the townships (but not the county). When you do a search of the site for surnames or any other keywords, these histories are also searched for any matches. We would still like to add the Knox County history to the site from the 1878 History of Knox County, pages 100-127. If anyone with a copy of the 1878 History of Knox County would like to help with this project by transcribing a few pages, we would really appreciate it. Even one page would be a tremendous help. You can type the transcription into an email, or Notepad, or Wordpad, or Microsoft Word, or just about any other word processor you are comfortable working with. Contact me beforehand if you want to help. I need to confirm that the pages you want to transcribe are not already being done by someone else. Thanks for any help that is out there.
