KIRKHUFF, JESSE A farmer, P.O. Maquon, he was born in Warren Co. NJ, on Jan 1, 1816, the son of Jesse and Charlotte Kirkhuff, natives of New Jersey. He received a limited education and his early life passed on the farm. On Oct 15, 1836, he was married to Caroline Kirkhuff. They are the parents of six children, of whom four are living.
