Jan: I do remember whether I have ever contacted you to ask whether you have any information about the McMurtrys from Greenwich, Twn, Sussex, or Warren Co., N.J. I have MARY MCMURTRIE, spouse of ALEXANDER WHITE, b. 1709, and though I find McMurtrie men who were in the Revolutionary War, I do not find Mary. For those from Fulton Co., who might be following this board, Alexander White was the father of the Revolutionary Solldier, SAMUEL WHITE, ancestor of many of the WHITE(s) of Fulton county. If this is of any interest to anyone on this board, please contact me. - Marna - ---- - Original Message ----- From: "Jan Lund" <genhelp@worldnet.att.net> To: <ILKNOX-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 15, 2001 9:51 PM Subject: [ILKNOX-L] MAXWELL > Posted on: Knox Co. All these families (MAXWELL, STROUD, > CONDRA, McMURTRY) lived and intermarried in Knox County, Illinois. Good > Luck...I am from the McMURTRY side Jan Lund > >
