Hello, Thank you for your kind response about BYRAM, CHRISTIANER, and CRAWFORD. I tell myself that finding no information is just as important as finding some, just not as much fun! I don't know why people weren't where they were supposed to be! I wonder if your book, "Cemetery Records of Knox County", includes Indian Point Township? The CHRISTIANERs are listed on an 1870 census extract as residing in Indian Point Twp. They also show an infant daughter, Etta C CHRISTIANER, whom I presume did not reach adulthood. She is not shown in the "Portrait and Biographical Album of Knox County", 1886. It seems that she should be buried near there if not her mother. I believe that the BYRAMs you found are descendants of Robert and Edward, brothers of my Lewis BYRAM. I could be wrong on the CRAWFORD connection. I based my belief on the fact that "Mary CRAWFORD" signed as guardian on my g-grandfather's marriage application. His mother was living at that time and my guess was that Mary LUCAS BYRAM had become Mary CRAWFORD. Thank you, again. I appreciate your work. --Jack Trauth
