Hello, I am seeking source information or a look-up for cemetery inscriptions in Knox County. In particular, I am looking for information about three gg-grandparents who lived in Abingdon or that vicinity. Jane E McKinnie CHRISTIANER, b May 30, 1827, Mercersburg, Franklin Co, PA. I believe she was alive in 1886. She was survived by her husband, Frederick Christianer, who later moved to Iowa. Her family was traditionally Presbyterian in PA. His traditional family records were in Lutheran and German Baptist churches. I don't know what their church affiliation may have been in Abingdon. Lewis BYRAM, b Apr 23, 1821, Greenfield, Highland Co, OH, d Aug 22, 1862, Abingdon, Knox Co, IL. Traditionally, the Byram family was Presbyterian in Ohio. Mary Lucas BYRAM CRAWFORD (?), b Mar 18, 1822, Greenfield, Highland Co, OH, d unknown. I believe Mary was alive in 1898. I also think that she remarried, to a Mr CRAWFORD, after the death of Lewis Byram. Traditionally, the Lucas family was Presbyterian in Ohio. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, --Jack Trauth
