I am not Beryl but Edwards popped at me. Don't know of connection to Martha but have these tidbits Have George and Elizabeth with 9 children none named Martha but one Mary m. Daughtery. Mr George Edwards died his home Thursday night. He had been sick a long time. He was born Somerset England Sept. 17, 1808 being more than 85 years of age. He was much respected and loved here for 30 years. Survivors include four sons and four daughters, George and William of Nebraska, Albert of Chicago, Edward* of Iowa, Mrs. James Main, of this place, Mrs. James Barr of Sparta, Mrs Mary Daughtery of Galesburg, Mrs. Lucy Seeley who lived with her father. Galesburg Republic Register Feb. 20, 1892 pg 8 Ontario News Died, at his residence two and one-half miles west of Oneida and two miles east of Ontario, Mr. Samuel Edwards, on Sunday Feb. 11. He was sick but one week with pneumonia. Part of the last few days his doctor was with him all of the time and there were strong hopes on Saturday evening that he would recover but the disease had taken such a deep hold on him that at 2 o'clock Sunday a.m. he began to sink and at 4:30 (?) he passed away. He leaves a wife and two children, the youngest but two years old, to sadly miss his presence and kind provision. A father, four brothers and four sisters mourn a son and brother. He was a man that was well known and liked. His circle of friends was very large as was shown by the large attendance at the funeral, which took place from his former home Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. He was buried in the Oneida cemetery. Rev.
