    3. Can anyone tell me more about this family? The Arapahoe Public Mirror of 3 November 1921 reported that Grandma Blackman would depart soon to live with her daughter, Mrs. P.S. Kaser at Galesburg, Illinois. Salome Keiser/Kaser married Elwood Thomas in Nebraska in 1884, they moved back to Victoria, Knox county where Elwood had grown up after living in Nebraska for awhile. Salome was a daughter of John Kaser/Keiser of Elwood, Nebraska, he is buried in Beaver City, Nebraska, he died in 1920 with Emily A. who died in 1907. Salome died in Victoria in 1920. I think there is some connection between the above clipping and Salome Keiser Thomas.
