This week, while visiting an antique store in Burlington, IA, I ran across a 1872 leather bound Bible with much interesting information in it. On the family record pages are marriage, birth and death records for the LOWENS family. The dates range from 1805 - 1898. However, no places are given. In addition to the family record pages, I found in the Bible several pages written in old script births, deaths and marriages of the GILLETT family of Knox Co., IL and includes not only full dates but places, as well. The dates range from 1805 in Conn. to 1937 in Long Beach, CA. Being an avid genealogist and a native of Knox Co. with many ancestors from there, I could not pass up this wealth of information. I felt someone, somewhere, might want this Bible. I purchased it for $30 and will gladly sell it for the same price plus postage to anyone who would like to have it. Donna
