I am looking for information on Charles Clark and his family. They are listed on the 1850 Knox county census. Listed are Charles, age 32, his wife Jane, age 25, daughter Sarah age 7, Oren Nelson age 13, Oren's sister Manerva (?) age 11 and Rauson Clark age 26. I am most interested in the relationship between the Clark's and the Nelson chidren. I believe that Oren is my ggg grandfather. Family stories tell of him being an orphan and riding an orphan train west. Could this be? Any information would be more than I have now!! Thanks, Gina in Iowa
