I am searching for information on Albert Mitchell Miller. He did not know who his mother and/or his father were. He was raised by Wells and Mary J. ( King ) Hickman. He is buried in the King Plot in the Bushnell Cemetery. MILLER were : HICKMAN, Mary J (King) b. d. 16 November 1933 BLK 10 LOT 3 SEC C ( same as Albert's ) HICKMAN, Wells b. abt. 1849 d. 29 December 1922 73 years old BLK10 LOT 3 SEC C ( same as Albert's ) Mary J. King Hickman's Parents : KING, David M. b. 1820 d. 28 December 1905 was a Civil War Vet US Army PVT Co. D 85 Illinois Inf. BLK 10 LOT 3 SEC C ( same as Albert's ) KING, Nancy ( Livingston ) b. 1830 d. 25 February 1905 BLK 10 LOT 3 SEC C ( same as Albert's ) BLK 10 LOT 3 SEC C in the Bushnell Cemetery is commonly referred to as the KING plot. Albert Mitchell Miller was raised by Wells and Mary ( King ) Hickman. They 'took him in' as a baby and raised him. He is buried next to David M. King in the Bushnell Cemetery. I am trying to find out who Albert's real parents were & suspect that he was born to a sister of Mary J. King in Canton, Fulton County, Illinois on October 14, 1872. Albert did not know who his parents were but thought that his mother died of Malaria fever three weeks after giving birth to him. He also thought that her name may have been Alice and that his father may have been a George Miller. Albert was also told that his father died when he was very young. I have been unable to find any information on these people and request any information that anyone may like to pass along... Carolyn millercw@winco.net
