Hi Janice: I realize this was from an old message, but I am visually impaired and do not keep up with this "board" very often. I was wondering where your early McMurtries were from. I have a MARY MCMURTRY, possibly from Greenwich, Sussex Co., NJ. I have been unable to locate her, but have found McMurtries in that area. She was reportedly married to ALEXANDER WHITE, born in 1709. Does this ring any bells for you?
