His daughter Catherine married a John Hickey on 12/03/1878 that later married my relative. NO dates on James but you might check the name Conner or Conners that is how Catherine's marriage record is listed in the archive. My Irish relatives came to Galesburg in 1864 settling in Galesburg, Copley and Sparta Twnshps and Saluda (Hickeys here also today)No straight information but hopefully some leads. He is not in the 1850 census.
