Jerry and All-- LUTHER GOOLD He is the son of S. S. and Hanna Goold, and was born in Vermont on 8 Sept 1820. He attended the common schools of that State. He was raised on a farm and has continued the business from choice. He has been Postmaster, Town Clerk, and Steward for 20 years in the Methodist Episcopal Church. He came to Illinois when 23 years old. He married Alzina Brooks, and they have four children. He is a Republican. P.O.
