Bob: Can't tell you when it was built, but it was built with a grant from the Carnegie Foundation, and was destroyed by a huge fire about 1957 or 1958. I vaguely remember going to GHS my senior year (1958), and seeing the stone walls standing for a few weeks after the fire. Tom Lundeen
