He was married in Brown County, IL, in 1849, to Ellen Ausmus. They reportedly lived in the Galesburg, IL, vicinity in 1850. They had a child born there, Dudley Dennis Perry. They showed up in the 1860 census in Missouri. If someone has access to the Knox, Co., IL, 1850 census would you please confirm his living in Galesburg? Any lead will be appreciated.
