I don't know where he was born, at this point. But I do know that he died Jan 27 1890, in Knox County, Illinois. He had the following relatives: R. Swart Frankfort, Kansas, John D. Swart-Trenton Nebraska, Retta Hamilton- and Elizabeth A. Swart. Grandchildren were William Charles Swart. I have a copy of his will. G.M.L. Swart is the administrator of the will.
